A Legacy of Excellence in Foot & Ankle Care

Dr. Michael Z. Fein, DPM (Retired)

Dr. Michael Z. Fein devoted more than 35 years to providing exceptional foot and ankle care to patients in the Bethel–Danbury community. Throughout his distinguished career, he was recognized multiple times by CONNECTICUT Magazine as one of “Connecticut’s Top Doctors” and was honored by his peers as Podiatrist of the Year.

Dr. Fein served as Chief of Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery at Danbury Hospital and as the onsite director for the St. Barnabas Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Danbury Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and has played an active leadership role within the profession, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association as the state’s Medicare liaison for podiatry.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Fein developed extensive expertise in diabetic foot care, ulcer management, and the treatment of complex foot and ankle infections.
